Photography has always been more than just the finished image for me. There is usually a story behind the photograph: the place, the light, the person, the idea, or sometimes just the reason I stopped and paid attention.
This Journal is a place for some of those stories.
I’ll use it to share photographs, projects, locations, and a little of the thinking behind the work. Some posts may be about a particular shoot or gallery. Others may be about a place, a process, or a group of images that seemed worth spending a little more time with.
It won’t be a photography tutorial blog, and I’m not planning to post just for the sake of posting. The idea is simply to give some of the work a little more context than it gets in a gallery or on social media.
